In the first two months of the year, the number of international passengers increased by 8.3%, while the number of domestic passengers decreased by 4% due to a decrease in domestic services compared to the same period last year.
Passenger traffic at Athens Airport in February 2020 recorded a positive growth of 2.8% and reached 1.36 million passengers.
The number of international passengers increased by 6.4%, while on domestic flights the number decreased by 4.5% due to a decrease in domestic services compared to last year’s winter season.
In general, the airport’s passenger traffic in the first two months of the year reached 2.8 million passengers, which is 4.3% more. The number of foreign passengers increased by 8.3%, while domestic passengers decreased by 4%.
The number of flights to Athens International Airport in the first two months of 2020 amounted to 26 322, which is 1.8% more. International flights increased compared to 2019 (+ 7.4%), while domestic flights decreased (-5.7%).
